Sweety, you just answered your own question with a question!!!!! You are smarter than you give yourself credit for. Read between your own lines. Think of it like you are (us) reading this. This guy obviously has given you the run-a-round and made you feel belittled. If you say he is treating you like a jerk, then he is one, right??? Why is he coming back around unless he finds you gullible. You said you found someone else you like and you should nurture that relationship. Any extra baggage will only dampen your new friendship. It is not a bad thing to move on. Your friends are not dummies and have made their impressions clear. Popular opinion poll, ha ha! You can still be just friendly acquaintances with this lump OR NOT.
