Third date...already squeezing my roommate's knee? Am I overreacting?

I've been seeing someone for about a month. He came over to take me out the other night. Within 10 minutes, he mentioned it'd be fun to go out with my friends...and dropped my roommate "Jen's" name. "What's she up to? It's up to you, but the more the merrier." We go out, and when we're getting the check, he asks about Jen again. We go to Jen's. We play cards in a circle and him and Jen keep squeezing each other's knee across MY lap to get each other's attention to talk to one another. When it's time to go, Jen says, "I really like him."...implying that he's someone good for me to date. The next day, Jen writes something on my facebook wall and just HAS to tag my date in the post. Am I correct that both my date and Jen are totally out of line and overstepping major boundaries?
